Sweet Life In Winter Wonderland

On our way to Mount Rushmore, we had a few more stops. For example in Le Mars – where life is sweet. Le Mars is recognized as the ‘Ice Cream Capital of the World’, and why is that? Because more Ice cream is made by a single company in one location than anywhere else in the world! They make over 120 million gallons of ice cream every year. We couldn’t resist trying the ice cream. So we had 1 giant scoop of Strawberry Cheesecake and another giant scoop of Brownie Fudge Fantasy. We could definitely agree that life in Le Mars is indeed very sweet.

In South Dakota, state of the Great Faces and Great Places, we couldn’t leave without visiting Mount Rushmore. Those faces looked very good up close and that was a big contrast with the Grazy Horse. This sculpture wasn’t finished yet ;). After Mount Rushmore we went to Jewel Cave. The second largest Cave in the world with amazing stones.

In last than four weeks we have seen three different seasons Mother Nature can give us.

Hot summer days in Florida, beautiful fall landscapes on our way to the north of the states and now a white winter wonderland in Yellowstone Park. 

We had two days to explore this white wonderland.

From east to north and all the way back to the south part of the park, we spotted a few wildlife animals and saw some amazing nature wonders.

Now we have enough of the cold weather, we are going to heat up in Vegas within a day!
